Walla Walla is an heirloom that produces delicious, round bulbs. The flesh is sweet & white, while the outer layer is golden-brown. Walla Walla will be ready for harvesting in roughly 100 to 120 days after sowing. The seeds are best started indoors, 6 to 8 weeks prior to the last frost in many northern regions. The seeds can also be sown directly in the garden when the weather is warm. All onion seed packets come complete with a colorful illustration and detailed sowing instructions on the reverse side.
