These hanging plant pots are hand painted and can be used as air plant holders, cactus pots or succulent planters. Note plants are not included The planter pots are modelled on classic American birds. Each set contains one mini bluebird hanging planter pot, one mini goldfinch and one mini robin which can add a fun and whimsical touch to your home The bird pots each have three hanging strings. The strings are tied as short double strings just over 4 inches long. If you want the pots to hang longer simply untie the strings and knot them as single strands up to 10 inches long All the plant containers have air holes to help keep plants healthy. The top hole is 2 and 1/4 inches wide. You can place air plants inside or let medium size air plants sit on top. For potted plants drop a 2 inch plant container inside to make it easy to remove them later The pots have flat bottoms so if you prefer you can use them without the strings. Each pot has its own little box to protect it during delivery and this also means you can consider gifting them as three separate packages
