NIKA SEEDS – Flowers Carnation Grenadine Mix Annual – 100 Seeds

 Carnation Grenadin Double MixA biennial plant. Stems are erect, 15-20 (40-60 cm) high. The double flowers are fragrant and large, 2 (4-5 cm) in diameter, in various colors. It is used for the decoration of flower beds, and for bouquets.Planting instructions:  Start indoors approx. 7 weeks before transplanting outside. Fill the boxes with drained nutrient soil, scatter the seeds, slightly cover them with soil (as they need light to germinate) and sprinkle with a spray bottle. Cover with glass or plastic wrap and place in a bright place. Keep soil moist. Maintain 65-68 F (15-20 ) before shoots emerge. After remove the glass and keep temp. at 57-62 F (10-15 ). Once 3d leaf appears, place tender shoots into separate containers with a nutrient substrate and once the threat of frost has passed, transplant them outside in drained and nutritious soil. Sow outside in sunny area in prepared fertile and drained soil to a depth of 0.6 inch (1.5 cm). Cover with compost, pour with water and cover with a film until the first shoots appear. Keep soil moist. After shoots appears in about 1-2 weeks, remove protection. After the leaf 2-3 grows, transplant the plant in flower bed in mulched with peat or sawdust soil.
